4 UX Writing Tips for Contact Us

1. Add valuable content with title

All sites want to solve the problem of their customer whenever they are needed. That is why we see the “Contact Us” page on all the sites. Most of the sites are having the same title “Contact Us” on this page. It looks really very boring. Just add some valuable content before or after the title and show the real concern of yours to help them. For example –

  • We would like to hear from you.
  • Feel free to contact us anytime. We will love to help you.
  • Need to get in touch? Contact Us

This will really make them happy and surely they will try to contact you. A trust build relationship will be created by just writing some valuable words.

2. Adopt short method

It will be good if you can solve the queries of your users without asking them to fill the form. You can just give your email id or phone number and tell them to contact through that. Or you can keep a very shot contact form consisting name, email and/or phone and message box with send button. This will be really helpful for both and save your time.

3. Be specific

Be specific for each and every queries that you would be addressing through contact Us page.

Don’t keep your questions incomplete like –

  • If you have any questions contact us.
  • Do you want to return something?

Connect these questions with the specific subject then we could provide link of FAQs. Some of the examples are listed below.

  • If you have any questions related to our free design course please visit to be designer.io/faqs/freedesigncourse
  • If you have questions related to prices visit our FAQ section.

This will help users to resolve their queries by own and it would reduce direct queries coming from the contact form.

4 . Promise to reply soon

This is very important for the user. Many websites are having pending queries with them. This ultimately stops user to contact them even if has any query and thus the image of that site will be not good enough in users eye. So it is worth to promise the user that in how many hours or days you will solve their queries. For example

  • We will reply to you in the next 24 hours.
  • We will get in touch with you on the next working day
